The Great Gatsby


The Great Gatsby is a book that takes place in the Roaring 20s. During that era, you saw a lot of pin curled short hair, flappers, dresses with almost no waist definition, hats, gloves, and flowy scarves.

Her spring 2005 line was very feminine in the Great Gatsby theme - the wispy fabrics, the light colors, patterns, and flowy blouses are very apparent:




The garter belts/lingerie look from the ‘20s-‘40s seemed to really influence the line as well. These appeared in many of the skirts and jackets:
